Dominic T. Cardelli, MDDr. Cardelli grew up in White Bear Lake, MN. He pursued undergraduate studies in Biology and Art History at the University of Minnesota and Montana State University, graduating Cum Laude. He decided to pursue medicine, and specifically Neurology, as a career because he had several family members who were debilitated by headaches. He attended medical school at the Univerity of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He completed his Neurology Residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin and was chosen as Chief Neurology Resident. Upon completing his residency, he practiced Neurology in Mankato, Minnesota for 10 years. He developed a very busy practice before returning to Wisconsin to be closer to family. While at the Mankato Clinic, he held several different leadership positions, including serving as Department Chairperson, member of the Board of Directors, and charter member of the Mankato Surgical Center Board of Directors. For many years he served as the Neurology Department Chairman at ISJ/Mayo Hospital. He joined Aurora Medical Group in Oshkosh for 3 years, during which time he started their Neurology department and developed many protocols used in their Stroke Center. Most recently, he has served as the Medical Director of Ambulatory Neurological Services, which provides EEG monitoring outside of a hospital or clinic setting. Now he is pursuing a career-long dream: to open his own office which will provide Neurology services in a clinic setting. He is board certified in Neurology, and has 15 years of experiece in treating General Neurology patients ages 13 and above. He has also received special training and has extensive experience in Electromyography (EMG) with over 8,000 studies performed, and a reputation for high quality work. Dr. Cardelli has several interests outside of Neurology as well. He enjoys music, landscaping and gardening, hunting, and fishing. His wife, Roxanne, is an Internal Medicine physician.
